AMC announced that for Spider-Man: No Way Home Moviegoers who purchase their tickets online will receive a special “No One Can Stop the Juggernaut” digital comic book featuring Miles Morales, Peter Parker and more.

AMC has announced that for AMC Stubs (Premiere, A-List) and AMC Investor Connect members who buy advance tickets for Sony Pictures’ newest Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, a limited number of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) will be given out. While just 86,000 of these limited-edition NFTs will be available, this is the first time a major theater exhibitor has offered a promotion based on the emerging asset that allows for proof of ownership for digital objects through the Ethereum blockchain. The AMC Spider-Man NFTs are available in over 100 different designs and may be redeemed using Wax, an environmentally friendly blockchain.
According to AMC’s news release:
While supplies last, the NFT giveaway will be good exclusively for tickets bought or booked for showtimes on December 16 in all formats at all AMC theaters in the United States. Members of AMC Stubs A-List, Premiere, or Investor Connect must buy or reserve tickets on AMCTheatres.com or the AMC mobile app to be eligible for the NFT. The transaction must include the member’s AMC Stubs account number, and the movie ticket must be scanned at the theater when the visitor arrives for the screening. The NFT code will not be sent if the ticket purchase is refunded, the ticket is unused, or the ticket is not scanned.
With just 86,000 NFTs available for this campaign, tickets are likely to sell out soon. Those who qualify will receive NFT codes and redemption instructions via email on December 22, 2021, and the NFT must be redeemed by March 1, 2022, at 11:59:59 PM ET.
On December 16, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released exclusively in theaters. Two weeks ago, a new trailer for the film was released, but it failed to corroborate the widespread belief that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men will feature in the trilogy’s final chapter.
