Areas to Play in Correct Order

There is not a great deal of information available on the order in which to play various areas, however there are some general guidelines. Areas can be grouped under color-coded categories: Green – Play this area first
Blue – Play next time you visit
Yellow/Orange – After completing every other area in your game

In return for Deathroots, Beast Clergyman Gurranq offers helpful prizes. In Elden Ring, there are a total of 9 Deathroots that you may discover and deliver to Beast Clergyman to get prizes.

First and foremost, you must locate Beast Clergyman Gurranq. There are two methods to locate Beast Clergyman Gurranq.

Method 1

The Bestial Sanctum is located near the Greyoll’s Dragonbow in Elden Ring’s Caelid zone. The map shows the location of Bestial Sanctum. You may chat to him in Bestial Sanctum and give him the Deathroot for prizes.

Method 2

To begin, you must get a Deathroot and go to the Divine Bridge, where you will encounter an NPC D to the east of the Divine Bridge. Leyndell’s, Royal Capital, is home to the magnificent bridge. When he’s available at the Roundtable hold, you should speak with him and inform him about the Deathroot. After you’ve spoken with him, a gateway will appear on the map, which you may use to go straight to the Bestial Sanctum to meet Beast Clergyman Gurranq.

No. 1 Deathroot

You must go to the Summonwater Village Outskirts for the first Deathroot; there is also a site of grace there that you may utilize for later and faster travel. Outskirts of Summonwater Village, in the north of the Limgrave area, on the road to the Caelid region.

Once you’ve entered the Village, you’ll be confronted by Tibia Mariner, the boss. You must overcome him, since he is the boss on a boat. You will acquire the Deathroot after you have vanquished the Tibia Mariner.

No. 2 Deathroot

The Deathtouched Catacombs in Limgrave Region are where you’ll find the next Deathroot. The catacombs are located beside a bridge in the Limgrave Region, up north.

You must enter the catacombs and descend all the way to the elevator, which will take you to the teleport to the Catacombs’ Boss. You must beat Black Knife Assassin; after you have, a chest will appear in the hall where you battled him. You must open the chest in order to get another Deathroot.

No. 3 Deathroot

Then, in the Liurnia of the Lakes area, you must see the Black Knife Catacombs. The Black Knife Catacombs are located in Liurnia, near the Erdtree, to the north east.

You must enter the Black Knife Catacombs and descend all the way to the elevator, where you may then teleport to the Boss. Cementry Shade will be your adversary. You must first combat Cementry Shade, who will be joined in battle by the skeleton foes. You must travel to the end of the hall and open the box, just like you did previously. The Deathroot will be found in the chest.

No.4 Deathroot

In the Liurnia of the Lakes, you must see Artist’s Shack. In Liurnia, the Artist’s Shack is to the northeast. To get to the Boss fight symbol on the map, go a few steps south.

You must battle Tibia Mariner there once again. You’ll get the Deathroot from Tibia Mariner when you beat him.

No. 5 Deathroot

You must go to the Altus Plateau’s Seathewater River. The Altus Plateau is located to the north west of the Seathewater River. The river’s position is depicted on the map.

Just a few steps south of the Seathewater River, and you’ll come face to face with the Tibia Mariner once again. You must fight the Tibia Mariner once again to get the Deathroot as a prize.

No.6 Deathroot

Next Deathroot may be found at the First Mr. Gelmir Campsite, which is located in the Elden Ring’s Altus Plateau area. The map shows the position of the Mr. Gelmir Campsite, which is located north of the Altus Plateau.

Once you’ve arrived to Mr. Gelmir’s Campsite, there’s an elevator that will take you to the Catacombs. Take the elevator down. To reach the Catacombs boss, you must walk all the way down into the catacombs. You will face the Champion’s Red Wolf.

To go to the chest, you must first battle Red Wolf of the Champion. You’ll get the next Deathroot if you open the chest in the hall where you vanquished the monster.

No.7 Deathroot

To find the next Deathroot, go to the Giants Mountaintop Catacombs in the Elden Ring’s Mountaintops of Giants area. The Giants Mountaintop Catacombs are located in the region’s southwestern corner, as seen on the map.

You must descend all the way to the bottom and use the elevator to the teleport that will transport you to the catacombs’ boss. In the Catacombs, you’ll face Ulcerated Tree Spirit, a rather difficult monster to defeat.

You’ll discover a chest in the hall after you’ve slain the Ulcerated Tree Spirit. You must open the chest in order to get the Deathroot.

No.8 Deathroot

In the Mountaintops of the Giants area, you must visit the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook. The location of Snow Valley Ruins Overlook on the map is in the Mountaintops of Giants area, up north east.

Once you’ve arrived at the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook, go west a few steps to face the boss Tibia Mariner once again. You must beat Tibia Mariner in order to get the Deathroot.

No. 9 Deathroot

You must go to the Grand Lift of Rold in the Mountaintops of the Giants area for the last Deathroot. The stated position on the map is in the Mountaintops of Giants, up north west.

Once you’ve arrived to the Grand Lif of Rold, take the elevator to the Hidden Path to the Haligtree. You must pass through the catacombs to reach an invisible bridge. You must cross the bridge and take the elevator to the top, where you will find the teleport. You’ll need to utilize the teleporter to go to the boss hall. You’ll have to deal with Stray Mimic Tear. The boss will imitate your actions. As a result, you must avoid the assaults you have already launched and keep track of the ones you are now launching. There is a chest in the hall after you’ve beaten the monster. You must open the chest in order to get the last Deathroot.
